# Connect Read.ai

Bring selected meeting conversations into Discovery and keep each Signal linked to its Read.ai report.

## Overview

Connect Read.ai, choose permitted meetings, and import conversations into Zentrik Discovery with source links and speaker attribution.

## Connect your account

A Zentrik workspace owner or admin connects Read.ai once for the workspace. API access is available on all Read.ai plans, including Free.

1. In Read.ai, enable **Downloads** under **Workspace Settings → Reports & Sharing**.
2. For workspace-wide reports, connect a Read.ai owner or admin with **Global Report Access** enabled under **Workspace Settings → Permissions → Advanced Permissions**. Otherwise, only reports accessible to the connected account can be imported.
3. In Zentrik, open **Settings → Integrations → Read.ai** and choose **Connect Read.ai**.
4. Sign in to Read.ai and approve access. Zentrik renews the connection automatically.
5. Under **Meeting access**, enter exact Read.ai folder names or explicitly choose all meetings accessible to the account. Choose **Save meeting access**.

This connector currently supports Read.ai’s US service. EU workspace connectivity is not yet verified.

No meetings are accessible in Zentrik until you save this boundary. Folder names are matched exactly: update the boundary if a folder is renamed. Connecting an admin does not automatically enable Global Report Access.

## Import conversations

1. Open Discovery and choose **Read.ai** from the import sources.
2. Choose a date range. Narrow the selection by meeting owner, folder, attendee domain, or audience if needed.
3. Preview a meeting, select the conversations to import, and choose the destination Product and People policy.
4. Choose **Import**. Follow the run receipt to the imported Signals and their processing status.

Use **Save for reuse** to save the rules. On the saved import, test the draft and activate it on demand, daily, or weekly, according to your Zentrik plan.

Transcripts retain speaker labels and timestamps. Read.ai-generated summaries remain secondary context; a meeting with only generated notes is labeled as AI notes. Reimporting the same meeting reuses its Signal and refreshes changed content. Meeting access applies to manual imports, saved imports, previews, and live arrivals.

You can also select a Read.ai conversation when adding initiative evidence or attaching a transcript to a Huddle. New folder or participant filters narrow imports; they do not narrow the account's OAuth permission in Read.ai.

## Receive completed meetings sooner

Live arrival requires live sync on your Zentrik plan and a verified Read.ai owner/admin on Pro, Enterprise, or Enterprise+.

1. On the Read.ai connection in Zentrik, choose **Set up live arrival** and copy the webhook URL.
2. In Read.ai, open **Integrations → Workspace → Webhooks**. Create a webhook, paste the URL, and select **Meeting end**.
3. Copy Read.ai's signing key into Zentrik and choose **Enable live arrival**.
4. Send a test request from Read.ai. The connection shows Receiving after an accepted delivery.

Personal webhooks can cover one user's reports instead. Keep scheduled imports enabled: webhooks miss reports shared later, reports accessible only through indirect team/global permissions, and reports generated from file uploads. A workspace webhook sends the full report to Zentrik before import filters are applied; leave live arrival off if this exceeds your permitted data boundary.

## Disconnect and retain evidence

Disconnect the source from its Zentrik settings to stop new reads. Turn off live arrival and delete the webhook in Read.ai if you created one. Existing Signals, source snapshots, and insights remain in Zentrik until deleted; disconnecting does not remove retained evidence. Revoking Read.ai access requires reconnecting before imports can resume.

## Troubleshooting

### No meetings appear

Save Meeting access first. Check exact folder names, the date range, Downloads, and the connected account’s report access. Meetings still in progress are excluded.

### Sign-in or import access expired

Choose Reconnect on the Read.ai connection. If organizational SSO interrupts authorization, sign in to Read.ai first and start Connect again.

### Live delivery is refused or a meeting is missing

Use a newly created signed webhook, check its signing key, and send another test. Ensure a saved import is active and set to arrive live. Use a scheduled run for reports outside webhook coverage.
