# Participants can inspect study images without answering by accident.

The participant portal now separates image inspection from heatmap selection. Participants can zoom into a screenshot on desktop or mobile, then deliberately choose an answer when they are ready.

## What changed

- Open a study screenshot for a closer look before answering
- Use double-click on desktop or double-tap on mobile to inspect an image
- Keep heatmap selections deliberate and visible in review states

## Inspect first, answer second

Study screenshots remain readable without turning an exploratory click into research data. The same behavior is available when reviewing a submitted or read-only study.
