Contextual Reasoning, Step-by-Step Initiative Setup & Roadmap Rethinking

This release introduces several exciting new features aimed at streamlining initiative setup and enhancing roadmap management. Now, with the new contextual reasoning in the process sidebar, users gain deeper insights into the AI’s decision-making. The step-by-step initiative setup guides users through the process, allowing them to interact with each stage and apply changes that influence the next. Additionally, initiatives are now aware of related ones, preventing duplication and ensuring smarter information generation. Lastly, the revamped roadmap UI with 'Now Next Later' functionality offers an intuitive drag-and-drop interface for managing initiatives and user stories with ease.

What changed

  • New Contextual Reasoning in Process Sidebar
  • Step-by-Step Initiative Setup for Better Clarity
  • Initiatives Aware of Related Ones to Prevent Duplication
  • Reworked Roadmap with Drag-and-Drop 'Now Next Later' UI

New Contextual Reasoning in Process Sidebar

The process sidebar now includes reasoning based on context, allowing users to understand the AI’s thought process. If context units are involved, they are highlighted, and the AI will indicate if there is any missing information that could improve the outcome. This addition helps provide transparency and better decision-making.

  • Clear explanation of AI's reasoning process
  • Context units are highlighted when relevant
  • Indication of missing information to improve results
  • Increased transparency for users to understand AI decisions

Step-by-Step Initiative Setup for Better Clarity

We've redesigned the initiative setup process to be more user-friendly and interactive. Instead of a full-on process, users can now follow a step-by-step flow. As each step is completed, the UI unblocks further features, allowing users to navigate and reflect on what’s been generated so far. The 'resume setup' option enables users to pick up where they left off, ensuring they can make adjustments as they move forward.

  • Interactive, step-by-step initiative setup for clarity
  • Ability to pause and navigate freely while completing setup
  • Option to 'resume setup' and continue the process smoothly
  • Improved user control and understanding of the setup flow

Initiatives Aware of Related Ones to Prevent Duplication

When creating a new initiative based on an existing one, Zentrik now recognizes the relationship between them. The system intelligently ensures that no redundant tasks or duplicated information (such as repeated developments or redesigns) are generated, allowing for smoother planning and execution of related initiatives.

  • Automatically detects related initiatives to avoid duplication
  • Prevents repetitive tasks and redundant information generation
  • Streamlined planning for initiatives that are linked to one another
  • Improved initiative quality and organization

Reworked Roadmap with Drag-and-Drop 'Now Next Later' UI

The roadmap has been rethought to incorporate a more flexible 'Now Next Later' UI, making it easier to manage initiatives and user stories. With the new drag-and-drop functionality, users can easily organize their planning into the three columns, creating an intuitive way to prioritize and track progress. The generated work timeline remains intact, ensuring a clear, structured view of the initiatives.

  • Drag-and-drop functionality for easy organization of initiatives and user stories
  • Improved 'Now Next Later' UI for better planning and tracking
  • Streamlined initiative and user story management in the roadmap
  • Retained work timeline functionality for a structured view
