Flexible Initiative Management, Kanban View, and Improved Navigation
This release makes working with initiatives smoother, faster, and more flexible. We’ve redesigned how initiatives are displayed and managed, giving users a side panel experience for quick access, inline editing, and easier navigation between projects. A new tag system and manual status management bring even more control, while the new Kanban view offers a powerful visual way to track progress. Finally, the new Health tab and guided Next Action flow ensure users always know the best next step.
What changed
- New Initiative Side Panel for Faster Navigation
- New Tag System for Organization and Filtering
- Manual Status Management and Kanban View
- Health Tab with Next Action Guidance
Initiative Side Panel
Initiatives now open in a dynamic side panel that keeps you in context while navigating between projects. You can review summaries, links, documents, and related assets without leaving the main view. Comparing initiatives is now as simple as switching panels, giving you a much clearer overview of your portfolio.
- Quick access to initiative information without full-page reloads
- Seamless comparison between multiple initiatives
- Keeps users in context while exploring documents and assets
- Faster navigation for busy product teams
New Tag System
Tags have been added to help you organize initiatives by phase, project, or focus area. You can now tag initiatives (e.g., 'Phase One', 'MVP', 'Growth'), and later use these tags for filtering, grouping, or quick reference.
- Flexible way to organize and classify initiatives
- Enables filtering and grouping by tags
- Improves visibility of strategic themes and phases
- Keeps your workspace structured and searchable
Status Management & Kanban View
Initiative statuses are now fully manageable by users. You can mark initiatives as In Progress, Completed, or any custom state. The new Kanban view gives a full visual overview of your pipeline — showing what’s in the backlog, what’s in motion, and what’s done — all in an interactive board.
- Full control over initiative lifecycle and statuses
- Visual overview of all initiatives by stage
- Easier prioritization and progress tracking
- Quick navigation from Kanban cards to full details
Health Tab & Next Action Guidance
The new Health tab summarizes your initiative’s current state and suggests the next logical actions. If you prefer guided workflows, the Next Action button will automatically generate the next document or step — for example, moving from requirements to user stories — keeping automation available when needed.
- Clear visibility into initiative health and progress
- Automatic guidance on what to do next
- Option to keep using the guided flow or switch to manual control
- Ensures balance between flexibility and structure
