Bring selected research interviews into Discovery as Signals.
A workspace owner or admin connects Great Question and chooses the interviews to import. Each conversation creates a separate transcript Signal. Zentrik processes the Signal to find evidence for product work.
Connect Great Question
- In Great Question, obtain an API token for an account that can read the research you want to import. The account must have access to Great Question's MCP tools.
- In Zentrik, open Settings → Integrations → Great Question.
- Enter the token and connect. Zentrik checks the available research tools. The token is not shown again after it is saved.
See Great Question API authentication. Great Question also documents browser-based OAuth for MCP; if the token is not accepted, ask its support team whether your workspace can use a token with the hosted MCP endpoint.
Import interviews
- Open Discovery → New → Bring in evidence → Calls and meetings → Great Question. You can also open the connection in Settings.
- Choose a study, or leave All studies selected. Load more studies when needed.
- Choose up to 25 interviews, or choose Select study interviews to select all new interviews in a study of up to 25. Select a product if the conversations apply to one product.
- Choose Import interviews. Zentrik reads each transcript from Great Question and creates a Signal for each conversation.
- Open a Signal from the result to review the source and processing status. Existing Signals are marked in the list.
Imports run only when you select them. Interviews on another page can be imported in another batch. A transcript that is still processing in Great Question cannot be imported yet. Analysis may find no relevant evidence in a conversation.
Data and access
The connection can read research available to its Great Question account. Only workspace owners and admins can use this importer. Choose interviews that the Zentrik workspace may share: Great Question's source permissions do not become per-record access rules in Zentrik.
Zentrik stores the transcript, session ID and available study context with each Signal. A link opens the source when Great Question supplies a supported link. Great Question may redact participant details from MCP responses according to its settings.
Disconnecting removes the saved token from Zentrik. Imported Signals remain until deleted. Revoke the token in Great Question if nothing else uses it.
Replacing the token or reconnecting after disconnect starts a separate import history. Previous Signals are not marked as imported in the new connection, and importing those interviews again may create duplicates. Review existing Signals before importing them again.
Troubleshooting
Check credentials and permissions on both sides first. If you have verified everything and it still fails, contact us with your workspace name and what you tried.
The connection is rejected
Check the token and confirm that the Great Question account can use its MCP research tools.
An interview is missing
Check that the connected account can access the study, and browse the other result pages.
A transcript is not ready
Wait for Great Question to finish transcription, then try the import again.
